The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) who granted it the ‘Autonomous’ status starting 2020-21. The college is fully recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu as well. The college received NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation and its courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is permanently affiliated to Anna University and its campus is spread over 25 acres of land.
