Sri Kalabyraveshwara Swamy Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre is one of the most reputed private ayurvedic colleges in Karnataka. Located in the main city of Banglaore, the college offers top quality BAMS and post graduate MD/MS courses as a part of a strong curriculum under the supervision of a highly qualified faculty and has a well-built infrastructure.

The institute was established in 1996-97 by Padmabhushana Jagadguru Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji. The main objective of the institution is to provide high quality education of Ayurveda, practical exposure, clinical expertise along with spiritual, moral, cultural, social and environmental activities so that competent Ayurveda doctors with moral values are generated for the service of the mankind.

The institute is permitted with an annual intake of 100 students for its undergraduate BAMS programme and 30 students for its post graduate MD/MS programmes. Ithas spacious, well ventilated classrooms with comfortable seating arrangements, laboratories equipped with phantom(medical terminology), stimulators and necessary articles for procedure demonstration, models, specimens, charts and a library stocking more than 20000 books of current editions with internet facility and helinet connection with access to over 2000 medical journals.

The campus has male and female hostels within its perimeter and has amenities such as a visitor’s lounge, recreation hall, study hall, prayer hall, facilities for indoor games, magazines and television. The college has a strict anti-ragging stance reflected in its policies.
