Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Sciences was established in the year 2006 under the eminent leadership of the saintly surgeon Dr. C.K. Velayudhan Nair. Sree Mookambika Institute, set in the backdrop of the beautiful Western Ghats, was founded under the auspices of the socially conscious Padanilam Welfare Trust.
