Sree Gokulam Medical College was established in the year 2004 by Sree Gokulam Medical College & Research Foundation, a brainchild of our beloved chairman Sree Gokulam Gopalan, established in the year 2004, receiving its first batch of 50 undergraduate students in the year 2005. The college is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and is recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC).

The institute has been accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). The campus is sprawled over 40 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds.

About SGMC

Sree Gokulam Medical College is one of the top medical colleges in Kerala. The college aims to be recognized for its benchmark excellent academics, research productivity and for developing globally competent medical professionals. The Medical College hospital was started and dedicated to the Nation in December 2005 by His Excellency Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Ex-President of India. With emphasis on research and continuing education, there is always something new happening here like workshops, seminars, conferences and special events.

Sree Gokulam Medical College follows a green initiative program like the use of solar energy, rainwater harvesting, reducing the use of paper, sewage treatment plants, no plastic campuses, reduce and reuse of water. The college appreciates its students and faculty with various awards for their good work and achievements. The annual intake of the college for MBBS admission is 150 students.
