Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital is one of the oldest and best medical colleges in Tamil Nadu. It came under the ambit of BHARATH INSTITUTE OF HIGHER EDUCATION & RESEARCH in the year 2004. Situated in the salubrious surroundings of Chennai, the college offers top notch undergraduate MBBS course and a wide variety of MS/MD and DM courses under its postgraduate programmes under highly qualified faculty and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital comes under the renowned Sri Lakshmi Ammal Educational Trust. The institution gives free medical service is given to the poor and needy people. The group has also established separate rural and urban health training centre’s so as to impart field practice training to medical students and helping the needy people nearby and those in remote rural areas.
