Shridevi Institute of Engineering & Technology (SIET), Tumakuru, Karnataka, is associated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, Karnataka, and is AICTE-approved. SIET was founded in 2002 with the primary purpose of providing high-quality technical education. Currently, provides undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with yearly intakes of 540 and 150 students, respectively. Shridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology is run by the two-decade-old "Sri Shridevi Charitable Trust (R.), Tumakuru." The Trust is one of the largest educational groups in Karnataka, with a network of over ten institutions. The foundation of the Shridevi Institute of Engineering & Technology in 2002 supports the ascension of academic excellence in the distribution of excellent education from pre-primary to postgraduate levels.
