SDM Medical College was the first medical college established under the aegis of SDM Educational Society in 2004. It is a brain child of Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Rev. President of SDM Educational Society. The college is approved by National Medical Council (NMC), and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and sprawled over 52 acres of land.
