About Saveetha Medical College

In today’s date Saveetha Medical College is one of the best MBBS colleges in Tamil Nadu. It is ranked 25th by NIRF among the other top 30 medical colleges in India (2019). Currently, the college is running B.Sc., MBBS at the undergraduate (UG) level & MD/MS, M.Sc., Integrated M.Sc. with Ph.D., at the Postgraduate (PG) level, and D.Sc. and Ph.D. at the research level.

This college is a part of SIMANS (Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences). It is recognised by MCI and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi. SIMANS received the status of a deemed university in 2005.
