The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the Government of Karnataka. The college received NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation and its courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college is a constituent of the renowned PES University. It is permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and its campus is spread over 25 acres of land.
