Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology (NCET), Bangalore was established in the year 2001 and is managed by the Nagarjuna Education Society. The institute is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC), and is recognized by the Government of Karnataka. It has received NAAC accreditation grade ‘A’ and its courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college was affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) but was later granted autonomy status and its campus is sprawled over a massive area of 100 acres of land.

About NCET
Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology (NCET), a self-financing engineering institution, was founded in 2001 by the Nagarjuna Education Society in Bangalore. NNCET is associated with VTU, Belagavi, and is recognised by the Government of Karnataka (GoK) and AICTE. ARIIA ranked the institution in the B-Band (26-50) during 2020-21 and Top Performer during 2021-22. For 2020-21, the institute obtained a 4-star rating from the Institute's Innovation Council for the Ministry of Education.
NCET emphasises not just curriculum-based education but also the development of students' internal traits, character, and attitudes. The concept of experiential learning and involving students through activity-based learning, in conjunction with a highly educated, experienced, dedicated, and motivating Faculty, state-of-the-art library, Training & placement Department, teaching pedagogy promise and give prominence to the complete transformation of every student beginning with the first year of engineering.
