Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Medical College is one of the top medical colleges in Tamil Nadu. The college is catering quality education in the field of medical science, healthcare and research from past many years. Away from the noisy atmosphere, the college is located in Melmaruvathur near National Highway (NH-45), about 92 km from Chennai and about 70 km before Pondicherry.

There are several departments available in the Institute like Medicine, Chest and TB, Psychiatry, Dermatology, OBG, Radiology, Orthopaedics, Anaesthesiology, Neurology, Cardiology etc. The college has an annual intake of 150 students for MBBS admission. The college is attached to its hospital with more than 700 beds, catering the needs of people from 1986.
