The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the Government of Karnataka. It is permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and its campus is spread over 20 acres of land.

About KNSIT

K.N.S Institute of technology was established in the year 2001 by Sri C.K Jaffer Sharief, Former Union Railway Minister, Gov of India. It was inaugurated on 17th October 2002.

KNSIT is situated on a spacious 20-acre campus with excellent infrastructure. The colourful campus of the college was created to provide students with greater study space. The architecture of the Departmental blocks is outstanding. Hon'ble Chairman and the college Management have worked tirelessly to ensure the institution's growth and development in order to compete in global technological challenges.

The college's mission is to develop young men and women into skilled students and professionals who will lead the future generation. KNS Institute of Technology believes in the power of knowledge and strives to provide students with significant information that will give them wings.
