JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bangalore (JSSATEB) has been a premier institution in technical education since its inception in 1997. It operates under the esteemed umbrella of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru, and is situated on a lush green 21.17-acre campus on the South-Western edge of Bengaluru City. The institute has been affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, India, since its establishment.

JSSATE, Bengaluru currently offers eight undergraduate and two postgraduate programs in engineering, along with postgraduate programs in Business Administration (MBA) and Computer Applications (MCA). All the departments at JSSATE have been recognized as "research Centres" by VTU, Belagavi, which demonstrates the institute's commitment to promoting innovation and research.
