Dr. Syamala Reddy Dental College Hospital & Research Centre was established in the year 1991, by the SGR Technical and Educational Society (Regd), which was established in 1985, was the incarnation of the dreams and visions of Late Prof. Dr. S. Ganesh Reddy.

The institute is approved by Dental Council of India (DCI) and recognized by the Government of Karnataka. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University (RGUHS) and is accredited by NAAC with grade “A” grade. The campus is sprawled over 7 acres of verdant landscape.
