Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangalore is a government Engineering college that was established in the year 1980 and was founded by M.H. Jayaprakash Narayan. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the Government of Karnataka. The college received NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation and its courses have been accredited by the NBA. The college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technical University (VTU) and its campus is spread over 26 acres of land.
