Kristu Jayanti College opened its doors in 1999. It is handled by the "BODHI NIKETAN TRUST," which was founded by members of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate's St. Joseph Province (CMl). It is affiliated with Bengaluru North University and has received an 'A' rating from NAAC in the Second Cycle of Accreditation. The University Grants Commission, the Government of Karnataka, and Bangalore University have all granted the College Autonomous Status. Kristu Jayanti College recently received the Heroes of Bengaluru award for its contributions to education.
