The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the Government of Karnataka. The college received NAAC ‘A+’ Grade accreditation and its courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) has recognized it as an “Excellent” institute. It is a constituent part of the the CMR Group of Educational Institutions. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technical University (VTU) and the university campus has been spread over 8 acres of land.

Q. Who is eligible to take the CET entrance exam?

CET is held in Karnataka for students residing in Karnataka. Karnataka students with SC/ST or OBC certificates and under General Merit can apply for seats based on their CET rating.

Q. What is the campus dress code?

Students' attire should represent high personal self-image standards so that each student may contribute to fostering a good, healthy, and safe environment within the college community. Students should dress as follows: Girls can dress down in Salwar Kameez or Jeans with long shirts or Kurtis. Boys may wear formal trousers and shirts, as well as collared T-shirts/Polo shirts and jeans.

Q. What are the eligibility requirements for engineering courses at the PG level?

Candidates for admission to postgraduate studies must have passed Bachelor Degree examinations with at least 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all years of the degree examinations. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Category-I, on the other hand, must have an aggregate percentage of marks of not less than 45% in all years of the qualifying examination. Candidates must also have taken the PGCET/GATE entrance test.
