Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences was established in the year 1986 and was inaugurated by the then Honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri Ramakrishna Hegde in the holy presence of Padmabhushana Dr. Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji. It is approved by National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated to Adichunchanagiri Univeristy.
