Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Bangalore was established in the year 1979 and is managed by Sri Siddhartha Education Society (SSES).  The institute is a constituent college of Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the Government of Karnataka. The college has received NAAC accreditation and its courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and its campus is spread over 55 acres of land.

Placement: Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology has a specialised placement unit that offers a variety of personality development programmes to students. Workshops in verbal and nonverbal communication, interpersonal skills, public speaking, and other topics are available. As per the college’s 2022 placement report, over 203 companies visited the campus for recruitment drives. A total of 599 students were placed with highest package being INR 18 LPA and average package being INR 4 LPA among recruiters like TCS, HCL, Accenture, Dell, HP, Accord, Nokia, Accenture, Capgemini and others.

Facilities: The institute boasts state-of-the-art facilities including separate boys and girls can stay at the institute's hostel. The institute's library is rather large.
