The college received NAAC ‘B’ Grade accreditation and its courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and its campus is spread over 5 acres of land.

Sri Krishna Institute of Technology (SKIT) is a private engineering institution in Bangalore that was founded in 2001. Emphasis on Research and Development - For the benefit of students, SKIT conducts research and development with various industries and organizations. These projects are managed using advanced techniques and procedures. SKIT students are taken on industrial and site visits on a regular basis to observe and learn about current methods and procedures. Placement - The SKIT Department of Training and Placement is a busy facility that is buzzing with diverse events all year. The Institution has a robust infrastructure in place to ensure that the department runs well. The Placement Department is well-organized and works hard to provide students with numerous traits and abilities that will help them achieve professional and personal success. Last year, 78 firms came to campus for job placements. The students were given a CTC of INR 3.5 LPA on average, with the highest CTC being INR 12.25 LPA. Among the top recruiters were Samsung, Amazon, Akamei, TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Toyota, and IBM.

Industry Tie-Ups - Training programmes and industry-related seminars are commonplace, and students are exposed to them from the first day they enter college. Students are being groomed to be persons with strong logical and analytical abilities, as well as extensive practical knowledge.
