The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the Government of Delhi. The college has its branches and their courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is permanently affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and its campus is spread over 10 acres of land.

About MAIT

The Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society, promoted by a group of well-known industrialists, businessmen, professionals, and philanthropists, founded the Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology in 1999 with the goal of promoting quality education in the fields of technology and management. MAIT has evolved from strength to strength since then, emerging as one of the best technical institutes among private institutes.

MAIT's campus consists of ten buildings, including an administration building with Wi-Fi connectivity, well-equipped modern laboratories, an intellectually filled Learning Resource Centre with books and E-Resources, a boys hostel, a gym, and an auditorium. Range of Courses: MAIT offers Bachelor of Science degrees in five engineering disciplines: Computer Science and Engineering (240 students), Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology (180 students each), Mechanical and Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Technology, Information Technology & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI&ML), and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI&DS) (180 students intake), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) 3 Year (60 students intake) and Postgraduate degree in Master of Business Administration (180 students intake).

Placements: A specialised placement cell has been established in the institute to handle student placements. Students are addressed for the necessary abilities - both technical and soft skills - so that they can polish their traits and overcome their deficiencies prior to the start of placement activities. The institute prioritises the development of positive relationships with the corporate world. Students from all disciplines were placed, with the most coming from CSE, followed by ECE, MAE, IT, and EEE.

Infrastructure: To motivate students, numerous indoor and outdoor events, such as a sports meet and a volleyball competition, are held each year. The university is delighted to have its own basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts, as well as indoor games such as table tennis. On campus, the Institute operates a Boy's Hostel with four blocks. The Institute has four floors of library space with an outstanding mix of books supporting the course curriculum, magazines, journals, and reading material beyond the curriculum, as well as access to the Digital Library. There are four food eat-out options on campus, rather than just one. The main cafeteria has a capacity of about 100 people and serves a variety of cuisines as well as mini-lunch packs. The main auditorium, with a capacity of 750 people, is one of a kind, providing an exceptional platform for a variety of Cultural Events, Symposiums, Conferences, and Seminars. The auditorium is carpeted and has a strong acoustic system as well as comfortable seating. A computer centre, gym, Medical Center, Bank, R&D and Project Laboratories, NCC and NSS programmes are also available.
