The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The college received NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation and its courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). About JIIT

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, was founded in 2001 and was designated as a "Deemed to be University" in 2004 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.

JIIT's cutting-edge, ecologically friendly campus is made up of smart buildings with Wi-Fi access that include the Academic Block, Business School and Research Block, Faculty Residences, Student Hostels, and Annapurna. A pleasant and engaging atmosphere is provided by well-equipped contemporary labs and an intellectually filled Learning Resource Centre with books and E-Resources. JIIT has been constantly ranked amongst the top engineering Institutes in Delhi NCR. JIIT was ranked 94th in Engineering Category by NIRF Ranking 2022.

JIIT has two campuses in Delhi NCR. The main campus is situated in Sector-62, Noida and the other campus is situated in Sector-128, Noida which commenced in 2009 and is an extension to the main campus. The latter campus is built over an area of 24 acres.
