HMS Institute of Technology, Bangalore was established in the year 1997 and is managed by HMS Education Society. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the Government of Karnataka. The college received NAAC accreditation and its courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and its campus is spread over 30 acres of land.

About HMSIT

The H. M. S Education Society (Regd.) created the HMS Institute of Technology in 1997-98 with the goal of delivering Technical Education. The State Government has granted permission, and it is associated with Visweswaraya Technological University, Belgaum, is authorised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and has NBA-accredited courses. The Institute is located in Tumkur, which is 60 kilometres from Bangalore and is home to a variety of educational institutions. The Campus is attractively set out on more than 30 acres of land with lovely landscaping. All of the structures are architecturally built to complement the natural sloping landscape. Natural surroundings and a well-managed pollution-free green campus make an indelible impression.

HMSIT has put quality technical education as its mission from the start, with the purpose of achieving high levels of academic performance.
