The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the Government of Karnataka. The college received NAAC accreditation and its courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and its campus is spread over 36 acres of land.

The renowned institute, which is associated with VTU, Belagavi, enhances the technical education landscape by offering UG (BE) Courses in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechanical and Civil Engineering.
