Bharati Vidyapeeth (Bharat Vidyapeeth) (Deemed to be University) Pune, India College of Engineering, Pune (BVUCOEP) was founded in 1983 as a constituent institution of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune and is regarded as one of the most prestigious institutes. BVUCOE, Pune provides 12 graduate programmes, eight postgraduate programmes, and eight doctoral programmes in eight fields. It is devoted to achieving global standards where knowledge is the major driving force in the continuously changing globalized economy because it is connected with the objective of Social Transformation via Dynamic Education.

The college has established academic excellence and offers programmes in innovative and emerging areas, currently has 29 constituent institutions, including three research institutes dedicated solely to research. Placements: Placement and training Cell maintains constant contact with industry. TCS, Zensar, L&T Infotech, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, CEAT, Cummins, GE Digital, Atos, Honda, Lucas-TVS, Parker Hannifin, Schneider, Shapoorji Pallonji, Neil Soft, Sanmar, Varroc, Bridgestone, Trident Group, and other prominent industries have routinely come for campus employment.
