The institute is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and recognised by Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC) as well as the Government of Karnataka, also the Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and the university has a campus that spreads over 25 acres of land.

Moreover, the college has a 200-seater auditorium built to international standards, equipped with a full-fledged audio-visual and digital projection system. Additionally, the college provides facilities for swimming, badminton, baseball, table tennis, aerobics, hockey, gym and yoga with proper equipment and trainers, and more, some of which are available on-campus.

Clinical training for students takes place at both the NRR Hospital and the Manthuja Charitable Hospital, which is the college's own parental hospital. The Manthuja Charitable Hospital has 150 beds, is multi-specialty, and is equipped with excellent infrastructure, serving a good number of in and outpatients. Additionally, clinical facilities are available at other hospitals such as Victoria Hospital, Vani Vilas Hospital, Lady Goshan Women's Hospital, and various rural and urban areas, as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council Syllabus. Furthermore, the college provides placement facilities in reputable hospitals and offers various training programs assigned by the college through the placement cell.
