Process for Document Attestation & Verification
Gather All Original Documents
Ensure all required marksheets, caste certificates, and study certificates are collected in original along with 3 sets of self-attested photocopies.
Obtain BEO Attestation
For Karnataka state quota (KCET), study certificates must be countersigned by the Block Education Officer (BEO) or Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) of the respective region.
Upload / Attend Verification
Upload scanned copies of documents during the online verification window or present them in-person at designated helpline centers as scheduled by KEA/MCC.
Receive Verification Slip
Upon successful verification, download the Verification Slip and unique Secret Key from the official portal. Keep this safe for option entry.

Yes. For KCET counselling, study certificates showing 7 years of schooling in Karnataka must be countersigned by the Block Education Officer (BEO) of the zone where you completed your studies.
If any document is found invalid or missing during verification, your category claim or state quota eligibility may be cancelled. You will be reassigned as a General Merit candidate or allowed to upload/present correct documents within a grievance period.
