About UVCE
University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) , established by Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya in 1917, is affiliated to Bangalore University and offers six engineering courses. The campus, spread over 10 acres in KR Circle, is surrounded by lush greenery and is located near the picturesque Cubbon Park, as well as important landmarks like Vidhana Soudha, Karnataka High Court, and City Civil Court. The proximity to the Metro, City Bus Station, and Railway Station facilitates easy access to the campus from any part of the city.
Situated in Jnana Bharathi Campus, which covers 50 acres and is the hub of University Post Graduate academic activities, the Engineering Campus has departments of Civil Engineering and Architecture. UVCE has grown exponentially over the years, producing some of the best engineers in the country. The college provides an environment for the all-round development of students through a mix of academic and extracurricular activities.
