Overview
Subbaiah Institute of Dental Sciences was established in the year 2014, and is a constituent unit of Tadikela Subbaiah Trust (R), Shimoga, (Karnataka) India. The Trust was formed in the year 2003 by Sri. T. Subbaramaiah, an agriculturist by calling, and a visionary, imbued with a zeal for taking education and research to regions that would remain seamless in their sweep and sway.
From here began the saga of the Tadikela Subbaiah Trust, formed under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 as a public, educational trust, and with Sri. T. Subbaramaiah, as the Author, founder-trustee and the Chairman of the Board.
The institute is approved by Dental Council of India (DCI) and recognized by the Government of India. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). The total college is sprawled over 32 acres of land, where dental college has an area of 4 acres. The college has an annual intake of 100 seats for BDS admissions.
