Sharda University, was established in the year 2009 and it is a constituent of the well-known Sharda Group of Institutions (SGI). The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The college received NAAC ‘A+’ Grade accreditation and its courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The university also received the Education Excellence Award by ASSOCHAM supported by the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India. It is a State University formed under the Sharda University Uttar Pradesh Act, 2009 and its campus is spread over 63 acres of land.

Scholarships

Scholarships subject to the central and state government as well as college rules. The university offers the following types of scholarships to its students:

Ø  Bachelor of Technology: As per the rank in JEE Mains.

Ø  Master of Business Administration: As per the rank in CAT/XAT.

Ø  All UG Programmes except Dental/Medical: As per the marks in the 12th class.

Ø  PG Programmes (M. Tech., M.Sc., MPT, MA, MCA, M. Des., LLM): As per the marks in Graduation.

Ø  Integrated Law (LSAT Qualified Candidates): As per the rank in CLAT.

Ø  B.Arch.: As per the rank in NATA.

Ø  Students from Sharda University and other SGI schools located in Mathura and Agra are eligible for a fee waiver award for PG programmes that is equal to 25% of their first-year tuition.

Ø  Scholarships in the Sports Category: Students who succeeded in sports will receive a 10 to 80% fee remission on their tuition.

Ø  Children of the navy and air force are eligible for a 5% scholarship via the Naval/Army/Air Force/Coast Guard/CRPF.

Ø  Scholarship for Siblings: Candidates who have siblings enrolled in the institution will get a 5% scholarship.

Ø  Employees from Sharda University's wards are exempt from paying tuition, per university policy.
