Currently, the college is running B.Sc., MBBS at the undergraduate (UG) level & MD/MS, M.Sc., Integrated M.Sc. with Ph.D., at the Postgraduate (PG) level, and D.Sc. and Ph.D. at the research level.

This college is a part of SIMANS (Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences). It is recognised by MCI and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi. SIMANS received the status of a deemed university in 2005.
