KLE Society’s Institute of Dental Sciences was established in the year 1992, by the KLE’s Educational Society, which was established in 1916, by the Seven Dedicated Teachers–The Saptarishis . They founded an Anglo-Vernacular school at Belgaum which set in an event that changed the course of history in this part of India.
The institute is approved by Dental Council of India (DCI) and recognized by the Government of Karnataka and Government of India. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University (RGUHS) and is accredited by NAAC with grade “B” grade.
