About GSKSJTI
The Government Sri Krishnarajendra Silver Jubilee Technological Institute, Bangalore, was formed in 1938 and is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka State. The two politicians, Sir Mirza Ismail and Sir M. Visvesvaraya, were responsible for the construction of this monument as a signal of celebration of 25 years of generosity to honour the Silver Jubilee of Late His Highness Nalwadi Krishnarajendra Wodeyar Bahadur, Maharaja of Mysore's eventful reign. This institution, the first of its kind in South India, was established with the goal of providing well-trained personnel for higher rungs of the organized textile industry, covering various facets of the industry. It has grown in height year after year, and it can now claim to be the tallest institution in the country and is under the control of the Department of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka.
