Faculty of Dental Sciences is one of the top dental colleges in Karnataka. The Faculty of Dental Sciences was formerly called the M.S. Ramaiah Dental College and Hospital and was incepted in 1991. The college offers a 3-year postgraduate program leading to the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree as well as a 4-year undergraduate program culminating in a year-long internship leading to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. The college also provides doctoral research programmes leading to Ph.D. degrees in the fields of aesthetic dentistry and oral implantology.
