Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College is attached to the Dr. Somervell Memorial Mission Hospital which was established in 1894. The college aims to provide better healthcare facilities to the people below poverty line in and around Trivandrum and Kanyakumari districts. This is the only medical college for CSI in the 5 southern states of India and Sri Lanka.
