About VIT
The Vemana Institute of Technology, a prominent institute, was founded in 1999 under the auspices of KRJS in the heart of Bengaluru, on a wide land area of around 5 acres. Vemana IT began with three Undergraduate (UG) courses for 180 students and has now expanded to five UG courses for 600 students and five VTU-approved research institutes.
The institute is named after "Dharshanika Mahayogi Vemana," a saint of great renown and a social reformer who reached out to the common people with his basic and straightforward Vemana Padyas', which serve as cure for worldly ills. He is our spirit guide. Vemana IT is recognised by the Karnataka government and authorised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi and affiliated to VTU, Belagavi.
VIT has a team of experienced faculty members who are dedicated to providing quality education to the students. The college also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural events, and technical fests to develop their overall personality.
