Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune was established in the year 2008 and is managed by Symbiosis Society. It is a constituent of the prestigious Symbiosis Group of Educational Institutions. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the Government of Pune. The college received NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation and its courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is permanently affiliated to Symbiosis International University (Deemed) and its campus is spread over 16 acres of land.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology, a constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), was founded in 2008 and now offers B.Tech programmes in Civil, Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics & Automation, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. SIT Pune, one of the leading engineering colleges in Pune, organises conclaves, seminars, and regular academic work to assist students learn more. Scholarships

Scholarships subject to the central and state government as well as college rules.

• PG Merit Scholarships are postgraduate scholarships given to deserving students. For all courses, scholarships worth 50% of the tuition charge are available.
• UG Merit Scholarships are undergraduate grants given to deserving individuals. For all courses, scholarships worth 50% of the tuition charge are available.
• According to the updated policy, semester toppers would get a scholarship based on academic performance, with a minimum GPA of 8.50.
• Only students who have completed the courses required for the particular degree and have no backlog will be considered for the Merit Scholarship.
• A student who has been given a merit scholarship by the University is not banned from receiving a stipend or any other form of financial support. If the student receives a stipend or financial aid from another source, he or she must notify the Institute and the SIU Office of Student Affairs.
• There will be no financial limit for parents/guardians of kids receiving merit scholarships.
• If a student is eligible for more than one scholarship/freeship from the University, he or she will only be given one scholarship/freeship based on his or her selection.
