Scholarships
Scholarships subject to the central and state government as well as college rules. The university offers the following scholarships to students:
Gifted Student Scholarship: The Gifted Student Scholarship allows high academic rank holders to study at Shiv Nadar University. The Scholarship awardees obtain direct admission to the programme of their choice. The following are the eligibility requirements:
· Top 100 Grade 12 rank holders from the CBSE, ICSE, and Cambridge Board of Education with IB grade points of 42 or higher
· Top 100 Grade 12 rank holders from other state education boards
INSPIRE fellows awarded Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)
· JEE (Advanced) (Advanced) holders of the top 500 rankings
· Holders of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Fellowships (Only for School of Natural Sciences Programs)
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: The University provides financial assistance to financially disadvantaged students who have academic qualities and prospects. Students having 92% or higher in Grade 12 Board examinations and a family income of less than INR 12,00,000 per year.
Rural Scholarship: SNU covers all academic and living expenses for high-potential students from economically disadvantaged families with annual family incomes of less than INR 3,00,000.
Sports Scholarships: Shiv Nadar University provides up to a 100% Sports Scholarship to champions or participants in international, national, and state-level events in various sports/games that are recognised by national/international sporting organisations. To be eligible for a sports scholarship, candidates must pass the Physical Fitness Test and sport-specific tests administered by the University's Department of Physical Education and Sports.
Research and Assistantship: The 'Research and Teaching Assistantship' option allows graduate students to dive further into their disciplines while also teaching undergraduates. Stipends, lodging fee waivers, and scholarships are among the benefits they receive. This stimulates and enables students from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds to pursue an education.
